Loch Lomond Angling and Improvement Association The Lomond system provides some of the best game and coarse fishing available in the UK with day, weekly and season tickets available. Carman Trout Fishery is situated in the hills above Renton in West Dunbartonshire (a five minute walk from Carman Hill House). The fishery is stock with hard fighting Brown Trout and Blue Trout, also some Rainbow Trout, situated in beautiful surroundings and rich with wildlife, including resident Mallard Duck and Geese, Buzzards and Kestrels can often be seen and in summer evenings it is a joy to see the Osprey hunting along the waters edges, all these birds are encouraged and protected by the Fishery Management, a days fishing on Carman is a very enjoyable and relaxing experience, and all Anglers are assured of a warm welcome by the fishery manager Jack.
